RE – CONNECTION, in collaboration with Martino Gamper

The exhibition Re – Connection produced by ALPI in the Milan showroom brought together the unique design approaches of Ettore Sottsass and Martino Gamper to ALPI materials. The original wood pattern created by Ettore Sottsass for the company in the early 1980s has been reinterpreted by Martino Gamper: two stylistic visions meet in one material, narrating a path of physical and creative reconnections. On the one hand, the reissue of the ALPI Sottsass collection that reprises the pattern created by the architect in the original hues; on the other, the evolution of this wood surface in a number of furnishings, in an exclusive project by Martino Gamper.
