EY proclaims Vittorio Alpi "EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023"
Vittorio Alpi, the president of ALPI, has received the prestigious award "EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ Italy 2023" in the category Sustainable Business Models. The recognition was issued by EY, one of the world's most authoritative management consultancies, in the context of the 26th "EY L'Imprenditore dell'Anno" award.
The EY Italy award, part of a global initiative spread out over 150 cities and 65 countries, is an accolade reserved for entrepreneurs who have contributed significantly to the growth of the Italian economy while demonstrating initiative, creativity and commitment.
Composed of renowned exponents from the economics and business communities, the independent jury chose Vittorio Alpi for his extraordinary dedication to promoting sustainability, acknowledging his merit in "having transformed his business model by adapting it to a continually evolving market while maintaining a sharp focus on product quality and environmental and social sustainability".
"I am very honoured by this recognition and thank my entire management and all of the personnel at ALPI, without whom this result would not have been possible," says V. Alpi.
Conferral of the award took place on 29 November at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan.
