GLAS Italia Sybilla | Design Ettore Sottsass
The visually arresting Sybilla, a free-standing mirror designed by Ettore Sottsass for Glas Italia, incarnates the unique and multifarious style of his work. Here, the console-table with sinuous, sculptural shapes is veneered with ALPI Sottsass Red. Two light bulbs positioned in the arch of the mirror illuminate the piece, creating a dynamic play of waves and colours given by the particular pattern of the ALPI wood, where the veining stands out on a brightly hued ground.
